Now that we are entering into the summer months, there are an abundance of fruits that are in season. I really enjoyed shopping the aisles in the store for the fruit and seeing all of the options. We saw that mangos were on sale and decided to purchase a couple.
When we got home I decided to try out a smoothie recipe, which I really loved! I hope to substitute it for my ice cream to curb my sweet craving. The chia seeds are optional, but I keep some in my fridge just to add to my yogurt, smoothies, etc. What are some of your favorite smoothie ingredients?
- 1 mango
- 1 banana
- Juice of 1 orange
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
